The Grizzly is a part of the Grandfather Mountain Highland and begins early morning while traditional bag pipers send the riders off.
The Grizzly attracts riders from all over the country and has been named one of the toughest rides for a number of cycling enthusiasts in the area.
The Grizzly Ride is 65 mile route through the mountains of North Carolina.
The Grizzly Ride ends of the track at McRae Meadows at Grandfather Mountain.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place male riders are presented with a plaque during the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place female riders are presented with a plaque during the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games
